Making the right investment decision
can be confusing for even the most experienced money-manager
these days. The choice of investment vehicle is often
overwhelming and in an unstable economic climate, traditional
routes become less attractive.
The Select High Security Fund offers
investors a unique opportunity to diversify away from
traditional investment funds by participating in a completely
non-correlated asset class with very attractive growth
potential and an extremely low level of volatility.
The assets we purchase are insurance
policies where the seller has decided to exchange the
future benefits of the policy for an early cash settlement.
When it matures the fund will receive a higher cash
value, delivering a profit for the investor.
Select invests in two types of policies:
Traded Life Policies (TLP’s) and Traded Endowment
Policies (TEP’s). Both have their own characteristics
and combined together in an investment fund delivery
a highly attractive investment opportunity.
It is because of this strategy that
the fund carries a lower investment risk that one would
ordinarily associate with such a high potential for
growth.
Traded Life Policies –
TLPs
TLP’s are United States issued
life assurance policies where the policy owner wishes
to sell the future benefits of the policy before the
maturity date. The maturity value of the policy is fixed
at the outset and these policies are purchased at a
discount from this value to generate a guaranteed profit
when the policy pays out.
Traded Endowment Policies
– TEPs
TEP’s are United Kingdom issued
with profit endowment policies that are sold by their
original owner in order to access their value prior
to the plan maturity. TEPs offer investors the prospect
of good returns within funds as they can be purchased
at a price that is very close to a guaranteed return,
based on current surrender values.
The profits, for both TEPs and TLPs,
are introduced to the Fund over a period of time based
on an actuarial model that generates extremely smooth
fund performance.
